SAY WHAT? (What is the passage saying?)
- The writer of Psalm 150 ends the book by reminding us to always praise God. It says let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
- Elsewhere in the Bible, we’re told if humans refuse to praise God then the rocks will sing to him. Because God is so worthy of praise, his creation (even the rocks!) can’t help but praise him.
SO WHAT? (What are the underlying principles?)
- We’re are once again reminded of what humankind was created for: to have a relationship with God.
NOW WHAT? (How will you personally apply this passage?)
- As you look ahead to the new year, what are some ways you could make praising God part of your daily routine? Could you spend a couple of focused minutes every morning thanking Him? What if you started to write down things you are thankful to God for? Ask God to give you a vision for the year He wants you to experience with Him.
