- Psalm 25 has the tone of a man who completely trusts in God.
- Psalm 26 shows a man who can call on God to vindicate him in light of his innocence. If a person calls on God to examine his heart and mind then he is surely innocent.
SO WHAT? (What are the underlying principles?)
- Both Psalms 25 and 26 were written by King David. Elsewhere in the Bible God calls David a man after his own heart. In these two Psalms, we can see why. David completely trusted God. In Psalm 26 we see David knew God would act on his behalf because of his innocence.
- Do you completely trust God to not only provide for you no matter what situation you find yourself in? Do you live your life in such a way that you can call on God for help and say to him to test your heart and mind to see if he can find any fault?
