Don't Blame It On The Rain

Do you remember when you learned the truth about something, and it rocked your world? Like when you found out the awful truth about Santa, the Easter Bunny, or the Tooth Fairy? Or even more horribly, when you learned that Milli Vanilli wasn't actually singing. It was a sad day.

But it was also kind of liberating. We were all sort of held hostage by something less than the truth, but eventually we got over the disappointment and stumbled into reality. When you know what's really true, you get freed up to respond honestly.

This weekend we'll be hearing about people that struggled with separating the truth from lies and how they were able to overcome it. It might be painful for some of us as we learn how lies may have kept from us from really good stuff that God has for us, but it'll be so worth it.
