Better Together: Reflecting God Together

We provide questions each week based on the theme of our service for our Verve Groups to use. If you're not in a Verve Group, feel free to use them on your own.
This week we continued the series called Better Together and talked about Reflecting God TogetherIf you missed it, you can listen to it here.
  1. What book or story has had the biggest impact on you (aside from the Bible)?
  2. How can you see yourself through God's eyes?
  3. When do you hear from God the most frequently? Through the Bible, prayer, nature, teaching or spiritual friendships? Which of these is the most difficult for you to hear from God?
  4. Read Proverbs 27:17 in the Old Testament of the Bible. Tell us about a time you experienced a friend sharpening you in this way.
  5. Do you struggle with wearing masks? If so, what mask do you often wear and why? If not, share with us how you remain authentic no matter where you are or who you are around.
  6. Are you a people pleaser? What areas of your life are the easiest to fall into the people pleasing trap?
  7. Who are the spiritual friendships you have in your life that help you reflect God together? If you don't have any you can name, what's the next step you need to take to seek out friendships like that?
  8. Weekly Check In Question:  What could we be praying for you this week? (Is there something good we could celebrate with you, or a challenge you need God's help with?)
