Hard Charger: But I'm Overwhelmed

We provide questions each week based on the theme of our service for our Verve Groups to use. If you're not in a Verve Group, feel free to use them on your own.
This week we continued the series called Hard Charger and talked about But I'm OverwhelmedIf you missed it, you can listen to it here.
  1. What is your favorite mode of transportation: plane, train, automobile, bike or boat?
  2. In your life currently, how many balls does it feel like you're juggling? Do you feel like you're able to juggle everything or do you feel like you are about to drop the ball?
  3. Is delegating difficult for you? Why or why not?
  4. Do you have a hard time saying, "no." when asked to do something for someone? If so, why is it difficult for you? If not, how do you say, "no."?
  5. Tell us about a time something was delegated to you and it went well. How about a time you had something delegated to you and it didn't go well? What differed in each of these examples?
  6. Read Exodus 18:17-23 in the Old Testament of the Bible. Do you think Moses' Father-in-law was wise in how he advised Moses to delegate? Why or why not?
  7. Share with us the best leader you've ever worked with. What made this person a good leader?
  8. What's the next step you need to take? Do you need to start leading in an area? Do you need to take even more of a leadership role in an area you are already leading?
  9. Weekly Check In Question:  What could we be praying for you this week? (Is there something good we could celebrate with you, or a challenge you need God's help with?)
