Questions: Party

We provide questions each week based on the theme of our service for our Micro Groups to use. If you're not in a Verve Micro Group, feel free to use them on your own.

This week we concluded our series called You Say Church, I Say _____ and talked about "Party" If you missed it, you can listen to it here.

  3. Jesus says that the Kingdom of God is like a party. In what ways do you think He might have meant that? How is God's Kingdom like a party?

  6. Jesus calls a man named Levi to follow him. Levi was someone everyone considered especially sinful. Levi wants all his friends to know Jesus, so he throws a party where they can meet Him. What was the problem the religious leaders had with Jesus?
  7. What does Jesus' example of going to the party with people who were very far from God tell you about what it means to follow Him and live the Christian life?
  8. In what ways do you think people who are not Christians would be more open if they thought of church as a party?
  9. Accountability Question:  Who have you invited to church this week?
