Questions: Wholly God's

We provide questions each week based on the theme of our service for our Micro Groups to use. If you're not in a Verve Micro Group, feel free to use them on your own.

This week we started a new series Wholly, Holey, Holy and talked about "Wholly God's" If you missed it, you can listen to it here.
  1. If you had to give a percentage that reflected how much of your life is truly devoted to God, what would you give yourself?
  2. Do you think it's really possible to be 100% devoted to God? Why or why not?
  3. Read Matthew 6:24.
  4. In what ways has money become a master in your life? In what ways does it "own you"? How is possibly pulling you away from full devotion to God?
  5. Read Matthew 6:31-34A "pagan" is someone who doesn't believe in God. So Jesus is saying that people who don't believe in God need to worry about all kinds of things in life, but people who DO believe in God don't have to worry and pursue other things. They can pursue God, and trust Him to provide everything else they need.
  6. If you wanted that to be your life - a life of pursuing God more than anything else, and trusting Him for everything else - how do you think you could get there? What are one or two things you could start doing that would help you to move in that direction?
  7. Read Proverbs 3:5-6
  8. What do you think is the hardest part about trusting God with all our hearts? What would help you to move towards more trust?
  9. Accountability Question:  How have I been inviting God into all my decisions?
  10. Prayer Question:  What could we be praying for you this week? (Is this there something good we could celebrate with you, or a challenge you need God's help with?)
