Questions: Frozen

We provide questions each week based on the theme of our service for our Micro Groups to use. If you're not in a Verve Micro Group, feel free to use them on your own.

This week we began a new series I Want A Movie Life and talked about "Frozen." If you missed it, you can listen to it here.
  1. One song in Frozen says “Everyone is a fixer-upper.” How does the song lyric fit in to Romans 3:23?
  2.  Some Bible teachers think the word “all” in this verse is the most significant. How does this word directly impact and involve us?
  3. Sin is often described as behavior, thoughts, or actions that contradict the greatness and high standard of God. If our sin goes against God’s plan and standard for our lives, how can we make things right with God?
  4. Read Romans 7:15-24. In these verses, Paul describes his battle with sin. In verse 23, he says that it wages war within him.
  5. How do you relate to Paul?  What role does God play in your struggle with sin, addiction, or problems?
  6. In Frozen, the main character tries to handle this battle by herself.  Her mistake is thinking she can control the situation.
  7. What question does Paul ask in Romans 7:24?  How does the question reflect the impact of sin in our lives?
  8. Looking at Romans 7:25, what is Paul’s secret to dealing with sin?
  9. Accountability Question: How have you allowed God to love you just the way you are, and how have you allowed Him to show you where He loves you too much to leave you that way?
  10. Prayer Question: What could we be praying for you this week? (Is this there something good we could celebrate with you, or a challenge you need God's help with?)
